Professional development opportunities for alumni

As we cope with the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, Australia Awards – Bhutan endeavours to support alumni in the education sector as they advance their professional development and strengthen online learning and teaching in Bhutan.

To this effect, the Australia Awards program is offering Australian alumni in the education sector in Bhutan the opportunity to apply for one-year paid JSTOR/other relevant subscriptions to online resources.

Opportunity:

Access to one-year JSTOR/other relevant subscriptions for 5 individuals are available.

Process:

Alumni working in the education sector – including those at universities, schools, research institutions and agencies – have the opportunity to apply for one-year paid JSTOR/other relevant subscriptions to online resources.

Applicants will be assessed based on how they claim the opportunity will enhance their capacity to share knowledge amongst colleagues and work towards delivering effective online teaching/learning modules.

Selection assessment will look at the benefits of access to resources, sharing of knowledge and how it may positively impact the education sector and community at large.

Successful applicants will be required to submit a report on the impact/benefits of gaining access to paid JSTOR/other resources at the end of 2020.

Opportunities are awarded on a competitive basis and all decisions are final.
